In March of this year, I made a life-changing decision to take redundancy from my corporate job. After some reflection time, and enjoying my new freedom, I began to ponder the things that truly brought me joy. It didn't take long to realise that planning activities and spending quality time with my son were the happiest moments of my week. Together, we would immerse ourselves in themed crafts, art, decorating, and baking, often inviting our friends to join in on these special occasions. My son fondly referred to these days as "mama-days," and they were truly the most fun-filled moments.

Inspired by the joy and creativity these activities brought to our lives, I embarked on a new venture, The Buzzard's Nest. At its core, The Buzzard's Nest aims to break away from the traditional, frumpy, and patronising image often associated with kids' activity groups. Instead, I wanted to create a vibrant and welcoming space that encourages children to unleash their full creative potential.

In the months since, I have been visiting markets and fairs, offering engaging craft activities to kids of all ages. The response has been phenomenal, with children and parents alike embracing the joyful and inclusive environment we have created. Craft parties, art parties, and birthday party crafts have become the cornerstone of our offerings, making every event special and memorable.

This summer, I am thrilled to announce the opening of our first regular art group in Aylesbury. It will serve as an open and welcoming space where children can freely explore their creativity and embark on exciting artistic adventures. Whether it's an arts and crafts birthday party or a regular art party, our sessions are designed to inspire and engage.

At The Buzzard's Nest, we believe in fostering a positive and nurturing environment where children feel encouraged, inspired, and empowered. Our goal is to provide a space where imaginations soar, talents are discovered, and friendships are formed. We can't wait to welcome children of all ages to join us on this wonderful journey of self-expression and artistic exploration. And hopefully, the parents will get just as much out of the experience as they do.

We are aiming to visit the location in the next few weeks so stay tuned for more updates.
