Crafting Fun in the Sun at Pangbourne Club Open Day,

We had an absolutely wonderful day at the Pangbourne Club Open Day this past weekend, and we're excited to share all the fun and creativity that took place!

The sun was shining, the weather was perfect, and the atmosphere was buzzing with excitement as families gathered at the Pangbourne Club to enjoy a day of crafting and community. The club, with its super laid-back family vibe and large play area, provided the ideal setting for a day of outdoor fun and creativity.

Monster Pinch Pots

We had 3 crafts for the day, the first and my favourite was Monster Pinch Pots. Kids of all ages had a blast designing and sculpting their own unique monsters out of clay. Colouring the foam clay themselves, the children let their imaginations run wild, creating everything from cute and cuddly creatures to fierce and fearsome beasts. It was amazing to see their creativity in action and the joy on their faces as they proudly displayed their creations.

Colouring Pages

Our colouring pages were another big hit. We brought along a selection of designs and fun characters for the kids to colour plus a whole lot of coloured paper for other crafts. Whether they preferred crayons, markers, or coloured pencils, each child had the chance to bring their chosen image to life in their own unique style. The colouring station was a hive of activity throughout the day, with kids diligently working on their masterpieces and showing them off to their friends and family.

DIY Bird Feeders

In addition to the Monster Pinch Pots and colouring pages, we also hosted a DIY Bird Feeder table. This eco-friendly craft was not only fun but also educational, teaching the kids about the importance of caring for our feathered friends. Using simple materials like pine cones, butter, and birdseed, the children crafted their own bird feeders to take home and hang in their gardens. It was heartwarming to see them so engaged and excited about helping wildlife.

The Pangbourne Club's open day was truly a community event, and it was fantastic to see so many families coming together to enjoy the activities. The large play area provided plenty of space for the kids to run around and burn off some energy between crafting sessions. The relaxed, friendly atmosphere made it a perfect day out for everyone involved.

We were particularly impressed by the creativity and enthusiasm of the children who participated in our crafts. Their imaginations knew no bounds, and they created some truly amazing pieces. It was a delight to be a part of their creative journey and to see the pride they took in their work.

Looking Forward

We were thrilled to be in Reading for the day and to have the opportunity to connect with the local community. The Pangbourne Club provided such a welcoming and enjoyable environment, and we can't wait to return for future events.
